yes, madonna tried and failed, a few times. personally, i wish she'd disappear completely and forever. Recently on TV I heard someone compare her as an actress to meryl streep. Maddy's a promi she's not an actress. she can't even sing very well and her dance routines are aerobics classes with a few poses thrown in. I don't dislike her, but let's try to keep things in perspective, huh? Her one redeeming quality is her relentless diligence, but whatever she wanted to prove has been proved. RIP madonna!

With her recent album selling 8 million worldwide and having the most successful tour for any female performer this year i'd say she's far from burning out. However, these topics and wishful thoughts should RIP.
