RIP madonna, please

yes, madonna tried and failed, a few times. personally, i wish she'd disappear completely and forever. Recently on TV I heard someone compare her as an actress to meryl streep. Maddy's a promi she's not an actress. she can't even sing very well and her dance routines are aerobics classes with a few poses thrown in. I don't dislike her, but let's try to keep things in perspective, huh? Her one redeeming quality is her relentless diligence, but whatever she wanted to prove has been proved. RIP madonna!

All those in favour, say I, (in writing though)[b]

With her recent album selling 8 million worldwide and having the most successful tour for any female performer this year i'd say she's far from burning out. However, these topics and wishful thoughts should RIP. lol

Never mind that everything that was said is true. If Maddonna was Prince and was as untalented as she is. A lot of people on this board we never stop slamming him. She gets a pass because she is a white female.

We get your song and dance routine already. All white people are evil and racist.blahblah She may be untalented yet she still fills stadiums and sells albums. Too bad, live with it.

Quantity doesn't prove quality. Obviously she's a talented business lady with a highly competent team on the payroll. What I've seen of her live shows... well it's just crap. Are you one of these stepford fans ,or what? That show on live 8, where she made the huge mistake of having real singers on stage with her only proves my point.
figures are not facts, my dear jayaredee!

Please refer to left half of figure for stock arguments. The talented businesswoman one has already been used.

And yet at live 8 she was one of the highlights for many. As I said, your opinion does not speak for others.

And neither is your opinion. I was only saying that your opinion won't make Madonna rip. She's going to keep going and you can either like it or change the channel. Same thing goes for Britney and Paris Hilton. People hate them but the media are fixated with them. Make the effort and keep yourself isolated if you hate her so much.

I love this. It's so reflective of what every Madge/ Jan thread turns into. Predictable. lol

A lot of the quotes are true, but I do like Janet when she's cuddly. She's not half as pretentious as Maddy.
Y'know I've never really listened to Janets voice, But I bet she can't do it like her big brother

Congratulations, you are the first person EVER to post this. Did you guys know that MJ pulled Prince onstage at a James Brown concert back in the early 1980s? By the way, there's this woman by the name of Joyce who has a really funny album cover, you should check it out. Can anyone post the tracklist for the aborted Dream Factory album? Do you guys think MJ or Prince is more talented? I heard Oprah and 50 Cent are fighting.

Janet's fans don't expect her to be like her brother. They like Janet for being Janet and the same goes for Madonna's fans. It seems to bother people that Madonna has such a strong and dedicated fanbase.

Janet made another album with sexual content too. Oh how I wish she would act her age. And did you know that laurarichardson doesn't like Elvis or John Wayne???? lol

you're a woman scorned jaya, and I don't blame you for being that way. But I for myself must plead not guilty, I'm sure you'll find a more suitable enemy.

I'm a man not a woman (a gay man though so it's easy to get confused.) And what the fuck are you talking about? lol

I just find it annoying people spend more time making threads and arguing against artists/music they don't like as opposed to celebrating what they do enjoy.

Why get so offended being called a woman, they're mighty fine things y'know. Peace (...not always , but why not right now?) They're not the only ones in a sometimes difficult position. madonnas' music without the hype is somewhat dull.
I don't like hype without something real behind it.
