As a young D.J., in the early 90's, this was always a song that would bring the house down. There is the shep pettibone mix that was really something...it was about 12 minutes and groovin. Who would have thought that an autobiographical song would be such a hit. I now have it on my Ipod rotation. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth" | |

I`ve never heard the remix. Do you know if it`s available on cd? I don't know. It is called the "better days", remix. Like I said, it was done by D.J. Shepp Petibone. It has got to be one of the greatest mixes that i have ever heard. I think it was reissued on the Profile, record label about 10 years ago. I guess it was just an underground favorite. I am an old Paradise Garage, head. I remember when DJ, Larry Levan played it. A lot of the patron there were people who lived alternative lifestlyes and this song was near and dear to their hearts. For me, the beat was awesome and the feeling that came over me, when it was played was undescrible. The "Better Days", remix really caught the essense of the song and as I said before is the best version that I have ever heard. One night, he came to the club a little late,(that was his thing) anyway, he puts on the main theme from the opera, "Carmen" and then goes into a little Eddie Grant, a song called "mother Africa", with tribal drums and all, he then tops it off with the Bee Gee's, "Stayin Alive" all while Carmen is playing. Now, u are sitting there saying, it can't work....but Larry made it work. See, he was all about different. His goal was to make you dance and exspose you to something different....and he did.
