So, I bought my parents James Brown tix for Xmas...

The legend was scheduled to play in my city on January 10th. I didn't know that he died when my parents were given the tickets. I hadn't been online or watched TV for a couple days. Then I gave them to my parents excitedly and my mom said... "but he's dead!". I didn't believe her because she's been wrong about that before with other performers. So I laughed at her.

Then everyone else in the room told me the same thing, and I could tell they weren't lying. Should I have laughed or cried? I cried.

Now I've bought them replacement tickets to a B.B. King concert in May. He's like, 80. My fingers are crossed that he makes it. sad. Cross your fingers too.
