jay-z this is some bullshit.i was checkin out billboard.com and saw that jay-z's new lp was already certified double platinum.the disc hasnt even sold a million yet..billboard itself had been documenting what it has sold each week..being that its only been 4 weeks and not even in the top 30. | |

The RIAA certifies them not soundscan, so the 2 million is what was printed and shipped, 1 million has sold, but the stores are sitting on the other million, the thing is when the stores send copies back, that doesnt subtract from your certification. Actually, it already has SOLD a million copies. I don't know why you're up in arms about Jay Z getting double plat certificate. There are sooooo many artists with over-certified albums. well thats just it.i am a big jigga fan.i got all his shit.but tha lp is just barely platinum and he has a double platinum plaque for it.they did the same with janet who has sold something likw 650,000 copies and is listed as platinum.why fake out the public like that? | |

If u really wanna get some hate on, I heard Jay-Z bought back 200,000 copies in its first week to gain chart placement.
