http://concerts.wolfgangs...50032|7284

Wolfgangs vault is a freakin' GOLD MINE. Complete soundboard recordings from:

THe Cure
Echo and the Bunnymen
The Doobie Bros.
Led. Zep.
Ashford & Simpson
THe Psych. Furs
Hendrix

100% Legal.

And I'm not even scratching the surface.

enjoy.

Wolfgang's Valut is a goldmine. Great concerts on there from Stevie Wonder in the 70's, Sly in the 60's, and the early Elvis Costello show is great. Lots and lots of good stuff.

BUT ... check it out...

Rockers to Merchant: Not a Whole Lotta Love for You

By Tom Zeller Jr.

Seems something of a communication breakdown is brewing (ok, we swear that will be our last one of those), between representatives of Led Zeppelin, the Grateful Dead, Carlos Santana and the Doors, and an outfit peddling a trove of memorabilia amassed by the late concert promoter Bill Graham.

According to The Los Angeles Times, those bands have filed suit in Federal District Court in San Francisco against Wolfgang’s Vault, “a Bay Area seller of classic-rock memorabilia and reproductions that also streams vintage concerts on the Web.”

Mr. Graham’s substantial collection of artifacts were purchased for about $6 million, after several changes of hands, by Wolfgang’s Vault’s owner, William E. Sagan who is named in the lawsuit. The store’s name comes from Mr. Graham’s birth name, which was Wolfgang Grjonca. (Thanks to readers who pointed out our earlier error!)

The rockers complain that Mr. Sagan’s sales are “clear exploitations of the intellectual property and artistic success of the plaintiffs,” who are described in the filing as “among the most legendary recording and performing artists of all time.”

Said Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek to The Times:

“If people are buying something because it says the Doors on it then, you know, you should give the Doors some of the money. Look, I need to pay my electric bill. I play an electric keyboard.”

Maybe one of these days they'll do a live archive series, like Neil Young just started.

I have an awesome quality CD of a show on the Pornography tour that was broadcast on French radio back in the day. There's a wicked version of Splintered in your Head on it. I would love to have that as an "official" release.

I would love a live box set like "Join the Dots" rounding up Concert, Entreat, Show, Paris and whatnot. That'd be hot.

Oooh yeah. I'd love some stuff from The Dream Tour in support of Bloodflowers. That was a great tour.

I still don't have the new live DVD... it's on my wish list for Christmas cool

The track list is really good and diverse, too. Some oddities on there, like Signal to Noise and The Blood.

There are lots of programs that let you record streaming audio. Here are few: http://radio.about.com/od...dio_PC.htm

I use WireTap Pro ( http://www.ambrosiasw.com...s/wiretap/ ), but I think it only works for OSX
