Uhh...nothing Price like there for me though.

In any case good for Justin...he gets it

He gets what? disbelief

How to get a band that are all African-American to try to breathe soul into his soul-less music?

he gets it dude!! Hes not Prince...hes not James Brown...hes not ground breaking....hes not a great singer. we get that...but theres room for him.

He clearly knows the power of a live band. He could have gotten up there and sung that song with a disk jockey and a track...but he didn't. He wants to seperate himself from the cookie cutter crap that we see from most so called artists today

I'm not mad a Justin at all....he ait't trying to be Prince he can't....but damn its so clear that he has appreciation for music and that shows.

He gets it! Fuck!,.... you guys are some depressed ass mutherfuckers! Always so qucik to rip somebody down to support an opinion. Shit just say don't like him...in fact why even respond. The band sounded good by the way...I don't give a fuck if they were purple. He put on a show...he gets it and didn't it while not sacrificing music...he gets it

I asked a question and yeah, I'm "depressed" confuse Mad at Justin? disbelief

Take a breath, it's just music we're talkin about. You have an opinion and mine differs.

So any male artist who plays a piano live is "Prince-like" now? confused Okay. I'm happy to see an artist nowadays who sees the importance of a live band instead of a DJ playing a backing track. I thought it was good, but the "Dick in a box" skit was better. That shit was hilarious. lol

Umm...perhaps I'm mistaken, but I thought every artist that performs on SNL, performs with a live band...even rap artist. shrug

well, it's for safety. cuz you know, if the cd skips, you have
to be able to blame someone. hence:

"sorry people, but the band started playin the wrong song"
