I remember watching this New Years Day 97 when it opened in Kansas City with my Mom.

It was a good flick. In fact the ONLY Madonna flick where she acts (it's probably because she sings and doesn't talk). However, I still think the overall casting was underwhelming.

It's an excellent movie....beautifully filmed with amazing costumes and set designs.You can tell that they spared no expense with this movie.Madonna is superb,her singing is also very impressive.In my opinion,the two best Madonna movies are this and 'Who's That Girl'.
