A very sweet and epic ballad by The Stones with some really nice lyrics,

Some lovely lyrics from Mick and the boys. I also like the part of the song where Mick goes into a little doo-wop like singing. Very cute indeed.

The line "What's all that laughter on the 27th floor? It's just some friends of mine, and they're bustin' down the door!" always gets me. Great song.

Its funny that you mention those lines as they always seemed to get to me too, especially with adding the following lyrics by Mick ....'been a lonely night at the memory motel'. A nice little feeling that those lines seem to bring out in me.
