I was thinking of buying tickets to the Seattle stop on the Zappa plays Zappa tour, mainly because Steve Vai is a special guest. My honey loves Steve Vai, and he has always wanted to see him perform. If ayone has been to one of these shows, please let me know how much Vai to expect (or not expect). If he only plays a couple of solos, then I don't know if it is worth it to shell out the money for tickets, especially so close to Christmas. Thanks!

Saw them NYC. He plays about 5-6 songs. and then the encores.

Its worth it even without Vai. Dweezil is playing his ass off, and the backing band is stellar.

This IMO would be an awesome present.
