Albums released from 95 on that need remastering Every major engineer and knowledgable journalist, fan knows cd sounded best from 90-93 when they averaged -12db
There been many great albums savaged by horrible mastering since 95; i wish these would be remastered; oasis; what's the story be here now the masterplan DBTT Red hot chili pepper; By the way Stadium arcadium Californication Prince; TGE 3121 Rave Musicology Emancipation Bubba sparxxx; deliverance Jay z; The black album Blueprint 2 KC Skinnyman; Council estate of mind Savage garden Affirmation Marilyn manson GAOG | |

[Edited 12/13/06 4:26am] O.K fair enough but that Bubba album is great. It's real without, hompohobia, sexism and materialism. The production is amazing but it's too compressed; some of the material is distorted slightly. With a little less compression during mastering it would of been one my fav albums ever. Have you listened to the symbol album compared to everything 99 0n? It sounded amazing just as D & P did and come. Listen to 'call my name' on a good system and parts of the bass are distorted and clip; it's mastered horribly but composed brilliantly. [Edited 12/13/06 4:34am] | |

The sound quality on those two albums is terrible. And I'd like to not only see Golden Age but also Antichrist Superstar, Mechanicals Animals and Holy Wood remastered. When they release the new album would be a good time to remaster and re-release all Marliyn Manson's albums since Potrait of an American Family. | |

altho it was released in 1994, i think "Come" is rather badly mastered.
have you ever listened to "Solo" on headphones? it's like he's singing so loud the microphone just can't handle it. creaking and clicking all over the place. 
another album that sounds like crap is U2's "Zooropa", it reminds me of prince's npgmusicclub downloads. flat and lifeless. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |

It is the worse sounding cd i have ever heard out of about 6000 albums i have had. As for MM; he said the first three album master tapes have been lost; he actually blamed trent for possibly sabotaging them. I bet if someone could contact him he would agree; he would be disgusted people can't get full enjoyment out his albums becuase of the mastering which he didn't do. | |
