The industry's big dilemma

What happens when they run out of things to sample? hmmm Do they just start over in the catalogue at A and hope people won't notice? I mean Nickelback just keeps putting out the same song over and over and over again so this could be a viable option.

Nickelback shouldn't put titles on their songs just number them smile

What are you talking about? This is already happening. lol

At least in the rap game there is pressure to flip them more creatively.. ie Just Blaze chopping up "Super Freak" so that it is no longer connected to "U Can't Touch This"

You know I think that popular music has always had it's repetitious moments.



Everybody wanted another Elvis, or another Beetles, or another Nirvana at one time or another. It just got more and more repetitious.


The problem is that songs that sound like another song kind of ruin the overall environment that the music existed in. I mean, with the whole supposed grunge movement, everyone ended up sounding like Nirvana too me.


They're like the dirty underwear that ruines an otherwise perfect still life picture. shrug
