However, he doesn't own the rights to distribute it via an electronic medium such as the DVD, and the legal documentation and contracts to distribute the film are apparently "lost".Also, to fight this in court would be too costly, considering all the artists involved.Also, it's speculated that Gary Numan refuses to have his footage shown in any future broadcasts so that's why you didn't see him perform Down in The Park on this recent VH1 Classic broadcast. So basically the only alternative at this point are these recent broadcasts or perhaps one can download it via a bit torrent site that has the original and complete film.I know there are several versions circulating.Some from the original VHS, the PAL laserdisc, and the HDTV broadcasts.

yes, it's truly unfortunate. When you consider today's bands who calls themselves electro,electronic,punk, etc,, these are the groups that influenced them.These are classic , classic performances and it's a shame that's it's not gonna get the wide recognition it deserves.

I watched this on the Tivo last night... so fantastic. I wish it would see the light of day on DVD one of these years, but I guess it'll never happen.

But i'm keeping it on Tivo!! Best invention EVER.

I can understand the Surf Punks, someone's ass is exposed during their perfromance, and you can see a bit of(the Cramps) Lux Interior's pubes during the cranked out version of Tear it Up, but no Invisible Sex .

i finally got to see the movie, thanks to a super-generous orger...all i can say is WHOA. it's a crime that this isn't out on dvd in legitimate form, because it's the shit.

Yeah it sucks they omitted so much. I would have loved to see the Skafish performance. I've been listening to the soundtrack quite a bit since I saw the show, and i'm playing tracks from it on my net radio. They really sound good.

I love the Go-Go's "we got the beat", and the Steel Pulse performance of "Klu Klux Klan" in particular. And MAGAZINE!!!! They were such an amazing band. Great stuff. Classic rock and roll film. It needs wider exposure.
