Compile your ideal Gwen 12-track album

By now, we all know that The Sweet Escape is largely composed of L.A.M.B. leftovers anyway. Most people find both albums to be lacking in some way or another. So go ahead and get it right for Gwen. Compile your ideal version of a Stefani solo album. 12 tracks only!

1. What You Waiting For
2. Fluorescent
3. Hollaback Girl
4. Cool
5. 4 in the Morning
6. Bubble Pop Electric
7. U Started It
8. Serious
9. Early Winter
10. Crash
11. Danger Zone
12. Wonderful Life

Sweet Escape is on my Christmas list so I have only allowed myself to skim the album and fam out over "U Started It" as if it was a single.

I'd have to agree with this.

BUT replace Hollaback Girl with Wonderful Life (or whatever it's called). I'd never listen to it, but it's less of an assault on the ears.

Ya can't win.

Make an album the opposite of boring and it is "an assault on the ears".

Make an album that doesn't sound samey by the end and it is "a mixed bag".

I'm talking about Hollaback Girl. That shit was STANK! Although yes I think this record is totally boring...yawn

Hell, it doesn't sound like music at the beginning or end (Wind It Up opens and closes that shit, right?) wink

The only thing that made me laugh when I first heard LAMB, and this is on some vainandy shit, was how they SLOWED DOWN "Between The Sheets". As if that song hadn't been sampled enough times.. they had to slow it down even further?

giggle I like vainandy's latest sig:

Ever since the rhythm was taken out of R&B, it left us with nothing but the blues.
