This is how they ordered the album: 1 Where the Streets Have No Name Silver and Gold Still Haven't Found Spanish Eyes With or Without You Luminous Times Walk to the Water Bullet the Blue Sky Running to Stand Still 2 Red Hill Mining Town Race Against Time In God's Country Trip Through Your Wires Sweetest Thing One Tree Hill Deep in the Heart Exit Mothers of the Disappeared I'm making this right now! Let me know what you think of it. I'm playing through right now, too. Some of it is a little strange (ie: Silver and Gold leading into Still Haven't Found), and at least one or two of the B-sides aren't up to the caliber of the rest of the album (Race Against Time and Deep in the Heart), but I still think it's an interesting way to listen to an album that I've probably played 1000 times before. I'm the first mammal to wear pants.

Ya know, I haven't heard either album in full, and I don't believe I've heard one song off the last album. I guess I'm a lapsed fan. I did think Turn My Way was quite good. I can't remember anything else from Get Ready.

I will. I want to make a studio only version of "Rattle & Hum" too. It'd be much better that way.

I will. I want to make a studio only version of "Rattle & Hum" too. It'd be much better that way. "Dancing Barefoot" and "Hallelujah, Here She Comes" are 2 of their best b-sides ever. Could've only served to make the album stronger. Of course, I don't think that some of the B-sides were even recorded when the album came out. I'm the first mammal to wear pants.

They'd all sound fine on there though, don'tcha think? I really love "A Room at the Heartbreak Hotel". It's a perfect companion to "Desire". I plan on throwing "Jesus Christ" into the mix too.

I like it. It's fresh and poppy. Kinda returning to what they do best. "Get Ready" seemed more in the vein of "Brotherhood" with its rock leanings. I love it for that reason. What else do you plan on picking up during your spree?

Yep, I love almost all of 'em. I have to admit to loving a lot of the live covers on R&H, though. I know I'm supposed to hate "Helter Skelter" and "All Along the Watchtower", but I just can't. I do hate "When Love Comes to Town". Bleh. I'm the first mammal to wear pants.

I like both of their newer albums. I think that they've spawned some of their best singles ever, but I really didn't like the duet with Corgan on Get Ready. I was really excited by the idea of it, but when I finally heard the song I was underwhelmed. I'm the first mammal to wear pants.

What else do you plan on picking up during your spree? Brotherhood, to me, is the best thing either band ever put out. It's pretty much influenced the way I hear all music since.. I do like Get Ready too. [Edited 12/12/06 21:02pm]

I kinda wish they had just done 2 separate albums - a live one in '88 and a new studio one in '89.

That's one of the tracks I like best actually. But it doesn't feel like much of a collaboration.

I haven't read what others have suggested, but I think it's best to buy the complilations entitled "Substance" for each band.
They'll give you a good start
