I've heard great things about the Amy Winehouse album but have yet to listen to it. Anyone have any opinions on it?

i think i've turned some kind of corner in life where i just can't give any kind of consideration to best-of lists like this anymore. i can't even get upset about how ludicrous they are. i'm just like, 'of COURSE it's dumb and lame. it's a best-of list!'

doesn't stop me from continuing to make my OWN dumbass lists, though. biggrin

Thom Yorke's album deserved more than a mere #40. It's a gem

It's really a very rewarding experience...very intense. And not to long in duration. One of those albums u can listen at nite while reading a good book (Isabel Allende!) or just chilling in the couch

ill I went on a first (and last) date the other night. She had tickets to see Lily at a club in SF. Lily was boring and the "date" puked on my car. I'm not sure whether the vomit was induced by Lily's music, however.

I heard the album a few months ago. The song about her brother smoking too much pot is kind of funny, but totally gimmicky. The rest of it was pretty forgetable IMO. You are right, though, people are way into her.

I never heard a song from her. I'm downloading now the album from soulseek just to see if she's good...

From the photos I have seen, she lacks the size of breasts that camptivate me in terms of female musicians! lol

Didn't Broken Social Scene come out in 2005? I'm almost positive that I bought it last year.
