undisputhed truth recorded that song before temptations. It's true, Undisputed Truth recorded the cut before the Temptations on their self-titled debut album. However, Brenda Evans was the female lead vocalist in the group, not Minnie Ripperton. And the recording was a group effort betweem Brenda, Billie Calvin and Joe Harris. Minnie definetely wasn't the lead vocalist ... however, some of the add libs in the background vocals sound like her .. but then again, most likely that was Brenda again, she sounds a lot like Minnie. | |
