Madonna "Santa Baby"

Who remembers her remake of the Eartha Kitt classic?

I enjoy more Kylie Minogue's version...it's not so forced as madonna's.

Madonna should call up Stuart Prince and make an electonica/dance/Europop Christmas album boxed

Faith Evans paid her a nice tribute though in her lattest album(which is an Xmas album).

I agree. Eartha Kitt did a great job. Everything else pretty much imitated what she did. It's one of the few Chrismas songs that really can't be remade. Feliz Navidad and Do they Know it's Christmas being 2 others.

Madonna butchered that song.

Eartha Kitt's version is #1.
Sheila E.'s version is #2!

no...it was the b-side of the following singles:

Please Stay
Somewhere over the rainbow (digital single and promo)

Come into my world was the only Fever single that did not carry a b-side.

Aww, Madonna's version isn't that bad, is it? It's like a warmup for the I'm Breathless album or something. It's just a fun pastiche of the late 40's- early '50s music.

Uh, coming from Madonna, it would have been more fitting for her to sing "Satan Baby", don't you think?

I don't like her Betty Boop voice on this. Eartha just sang it straight and I liked that much better.
