I'm glad to see "Say It Right" move up to #12. That song stood out the first time I listened to "Loose." I'm not much of a Nelly Furtado fan, but that album is pop gold.
And "Promise" is rising, too. Sweet.

Then why didn't she say "another guy", or "another man" or "dude" or "fella", "boy", whatever? She said "another you". He didn't sound like he had too many good qualities from what I heard in the song...unless you count his good looks. Maybe she did mean a totally different type of man from him, but that's not what "another you" translates into. Hey, she wrote it...or co-wrote it anyway; I just listen to it and that's how I interpret it. Isn't it amazing how one little word can totally change the meaning of a sentence and thought? [Edited 12/7/06 21:39pm] Well it sounds as if that line is in response, the guy telling her "you'll never find another guy who looks good as me or with my style and charm", basically to puff his chest out when he knows he's wrong and he's trying to turn it back on her. "another you" can translate into just what I said it did. Doesn't have to be literal. Besides, that's what her intention was anyway. I got it. Ppl who don't like Beyonce always find fault in it. It's human nature I guess. I graduated bitches!!! 12-19-09
