Love it! It's a perfectly fun blend of indie and electronic/dance music. "Tribulations" is one of the best pop songs of the decade, I think. The 2nd disc is also quite good, especially "Yeah (Crass Version)" and "Losing My Edge".
Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

Since all the hype has worn off, the album itself still holds up a year later.

"Yr City's A Sucker" was my stomp-down, absolute fave song that record, and the most underrated of the bunch! When people list off their faves, they always mention "Daft Punk..." or "Tribulations," but YCAS never gets its proper shine.

The groove in that shit is TOTAL DOWNBEAT MANHATTAN ART ROCK.

But I also dig Disco Infiltrator, Yeah (Pretentious Mix) and the almighty Tribulations.

One of the guys from LCD's band was @ the Hot Chip gig I went to this summer. 'Twas hot.

I like them lots.

Not to be a broken record or anything, but I'll always be inclined to like a band who gives The Fall their due. The world needs more vocalists influenced by Mark E. Smith.

I think they're okay. Mostly I've been unimpressed.

His voice reminds me of a certain someone...

"Daft Punk is playing at my house, my house even!"
