Or, from himself rather. He's got a new solo album out now. Which I can't even FIND here! I'll get it soon though. It's got the stellar "Cunts Are Still Running the World" on it. That was one of the worst lists I've ever seen. Missy Higgins at number 30? Silverchair at fucking 23? Readers lists are usually bad, but this is REALLY bad...
Check out www.acclaimedmusic.net if you want to get a much better top 100 (or top 3000 for that matter) list. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

I was thinking about the Steely Dan post above me though. I love them to bits and would put any Steely Dan album in my own "favorites" list, but I can't believe how many people I've met that absolutely despise them. I don't even know really what to say to them actually. I mean, I love them because I love them, but the people I know who hate them REALLY have a hatred for them. I don't even know where to begin w/ them, so I don't even bother. I feel ya, but would be more concerned if everyone liked them or "got it." Is that Dredd Scott in your avatar?

Nirvana's Nevermind was rank HIGHER than Led Zeppelin's 4. Something is very wrong with that list! Are these critics telling us that Smell Like Teen Spirit has higher value than Highway To Heaven?!? If so, then they can get the hell out of music journalism with that bullshyt! [Edited 12/4/06 0:52am] [Edited 12/4/06 0:54am]

No such thing as "the best album of all time", because such a thing is purely subjective. There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently

Not a huge fan of Acclaimed Music, pretty light on heavy metal. The best metal album of a given year is always way down the list.
