Is Gnarls Barkley good?

Since I don't listen to radio (and I'm always away from what's cool!)...I have never been exposed to them. Should I listen 2 their stuff?

i know i've used this analogy before, but they're kinda like fruit stripes gum. GREAT STUFF for a minute, then it loses its flavor.

give 'em a try and see if you like it. i think its a cool record, even now that its "old" and everyone's moved on. but, then again, gwens first record still gets lots of play in my place.

I remember my trip to San Francisco (to see Madonna in Fresno and visit with my sister) I was all about this CD. Good memories.

Funny, it's had total staying power for me. I really love it, and think they showed Outkast what's what this year, as far as experimenting with the boundaries of hip hop. Totally original, brillant music, IMO. The only thing kinda silly about it is the lyrics, I guess.

I love this CD! It's been one of the music highlights of 2006 for me

Strange thing though, I'm the opposite of Anx. I was underwhelmed by the
album at first, but then I heard it being played in my favorite record store
and I was like "what is this! I must have it!!" eek

To my delight it was already in my house, being neglected
now I have almost played it out
If you will, so will I

I have to be honest; I'm pretty stubborn and haven't even given them a chance. I'm sure they're fine, but they seem too clever. Clever gets old for me.

I quite enjoy the album. I seem to be in between the 2 camps though: my opinion of it hasn't changed much since I first heard it.
