Nice pic. And uh, Happy Birthday, Mr. Hendrix. Your impact on me,...I can't express in the form of words.

It's way out that,..well,..it's not way out at all. There are many things in common with Bruce and Jimi. Both were plastered all over my wall as a kid. I wore and STILL wear their t-shirts. Like Aud's great pics of Jimi, Bruce and Jimi I feel were at their most potent when they were NOT performing in their pictures. Their aura and presence was that strong. They both died under fucked up situations. Both with women present. Both from (allegedley) taking medication of some sort, which was given to them from these 2 women. Both deaths are linked with murders and not overdoses. Both died at the height of their powers. Oh yeah, and both were from Washington. There was definately a cosmic connection between both men. U can see their impact on young kids and adults to this day. Take a walk down Venice Beach, and you'll won't find more paintings, posters, and t-shirts of any other performer. And just of their faces
too. Not really displaying what their most known for; Martial arts and playing guitar. But, just their faces. Amazing.

Yup, two amazing Sons of Seattle, only two years apart, but born on the same day...and both revolutionized their art!!

Great!! cool ....I may have to photobucket a few of those....

btw, you don't happen to have one where he's sitting at a table,
with what looks like a blue Strat...and there's also a tea set on the table....

beautiful shots!

Jimi kissed my soul at a young age and I'm so glad he was born. Didn't know him as a person, all I have is what he created.

Hey Paligap..
The whole series can be found in a book called "the inner world of jimi hendix" written by the photographer and official lying ass women who shared the bed he died in with him...Monica Danneman

Two masters of their respective arts - Bruce and Jimi. I woke up today thinking, man, today's Bruce Lee's birthday. Then later on, it's like, oh s**t, it's Hendrix's birthday, too! Both from Washington, both innovators, both died too young...

Every time I watch "Enter the Dragon" I think about the fact that Bruce was scheduled to go on "The Tonight Show" to talk about the movie. He and Linda had already bought the plane tickets and everything...

Then there's Eric Clapton, who saw Jimi at a concert. They were across the room from each other and never got the chance to hook up afterward. Shortly after, Jimi was gone from this world...

We'll always have their timeless works to discover and rediscover cool

Here's some classic Bruce for 'ya:
