"Blue Jay" Returns

http://www.cbsnews.com/st...5521.shtml

There is musical genius and there is musical genius.

I must always thank Prince for opening up the door to an incredible new world. He is the master who ushered this apprentice into the temple of music, and untold hours of enjoyment and discovery.

confuse I saw the 60 Minutes segment on Jay Greenberg last night and I don't see any connection to Prince at all.

The kid has a very unique gift without question and it'll be interesting to see how it developes over time.

No, I didn't claim there was ANY connection to Prince.
I was just celebrating the fact that talent such as Greenburg's exists.

People tend to throw out the title "genius" all the time. Well, while Prince may have his own genius, here is someone else who could qualify for the title.

Prince doesn't compose symphonies though.

Wow, what a story!

Did they talk about the quality of his compositions? Are there any reviews of his work? Is it influenced by certain composers, traditional or contemporary? How does it fit into the pantheon? Did you like what you heard?
