Damien Rice 9 Wow!!! what a great album! i love this guy. one the bes voices i've ever heard, and good musicanship! love him! check out his new album 9 as well as his debut album O

i really loved "O" and occasional songs like "Cross Eyed Bear" but i'm
having a hard time getting into the new album. i'm sad to say that i find it somewhat boring. but in all fairness i'm gonna have to say that i didn't really give it a good chance yet since i've only listened to it twice now. i plan to sit down with it this weekend and give it a good listen with just some puzzles and coffee to distract my attention  and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |

O is one of favorites of all time, so I'm a little nervous that this one won't measure up. I haven't picked it up yet, just heard the song he has on his myspace page. I do have tix for his current tour, which I'm excited about. Saw him last time through with Fiona. | |

"9 crimes" is nice, so is "me, my yoke ti", in a Chili Peppers kind of way.

"O" is probably my favourite album, so I was dreading the new one!
At first I wasn't impressed, but it has really grown on me over the last few listens. I don't like the "heavy" efforts in the middle, but tracks 1, 3, 9 and 10 are up there with his best. . |
