I only vaguely remember the movie - it seemed a little incoherent at the time, but that may have been due to a lack of sophistication on my part - but, of all things, this was my introduction to Iggy Pop and Lou Reed. Not the greatest starting point probably.

I saw this movie in Tower Records late last year. There was an Earth Wind and Fire song on the soundtrack that I think is one of their absolute best. But I can't find the soundtrack anywhere. I want that song dammit! NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

that is because all of the songs are unreleased and have never been issued as a soundtrack

I love Cheap Trick. Some of their songs from Rock and Rule ended up om the box set Sex America and Cheap Trick. But I don't know. Should I be a fan of this? Stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths...(Jeremiah 6:16) www.ancientfaithradio.com

Well I loved the animation, pretty innovative for the time. It is not as x rated as Heavy Metal and it is not exactly rated G, so it had a hard time finding an audience. It has some good music in the film and it took over five years to make, at the time the company that made the film went bankrupt.
