I saw her recently and she was terrible live. She was with Damien Rice and he blew her out of the water. She's the shit. "Tidal" made me a fan; "When the Pawn" made me a loyalist, I will buy anything and everything she puts out. BUT... "Extraordinary Machine" was a letdown. I can see why she didn't really want to release it in the first place. Save for "Get Him Back," "O Sailor," and "Tymps"...it really wasn't a great record at all. IMHO as always. We haven't really heard a lot of her over here in Britain but Hammer introduced me to her music a few years ago and I think she's fantastic. Underrated imo. | |
