the sound is great...i just listened to it for the first time today (the first half, anyway) and even though i'm no audiophile, i could tell a big difference in the sound quality.

i've been reading reviews from EVERYone, from the most fammy fam beatles freak to the most jaded music snob, completely ululating over this album...i am not sure i'd go that far. i think the whole mash-up approach is going to sound dated sooner than later (though the mashing up is done WONDERFULLY, i must say), and some of the remixed versions of beatles classics made me kinda annoyed because it made me want to listen to the original version instead. the intro a cappella track is going to get old fast, by the way.

i was expecting some religious conversion that would redefine how i listened to the beatles, since everyone was ranting on about the epiphanies they had listening to 'love'. i give it three larry david "EH"s and a shrug and a smile. you could do worse for fifteen bucks!
