Song Of The Day "You Will Know", By Black Men United.

Sup, Y'all.

I have been looking at some of this weeks posts about,Gerald Levert, "The best Bass Line" and a recent post on De Angelo. It got me to thinking about the song that he had written for the Jason's Lyric", movie soundtrack. I think this song is a pretty good song. You have Raphel Sadiq's wicked bassline pumping throughout the song, Gerald, sings his verse like nobody else can and finally a great sound written by De Angelo who, by the way, sings the last few lines of the song. This was the first time we would hear from him. These voices sound great together. I wish this type of thing was still done. Great tune and not so bad soundtrack....

Thoughts?

Great song. An unheard of D'Angelo at the time did a damn good job on it.

I just love this song. This is the song that made me really cry about
Gerald's passing, sad I didn't realize how much he was behind so many songs.
