It was about this time last year the reissues FINALLY hit. I remember going to Tower Records on my lunch break and buying them all, and then wanting to work the rest of the day. The sound so fantastic compared to the original CD issues. And of course The Ultimate Collection compilation was in stores, and the single "I've Got a Life" was doing it's thang.....

I've been going through a Eurythmics phase lately... listened to "Julia" last night and was amazed all over again at how beautiful it is, especially when the acoustic guitar comes in at the end... just cold-chill-inducing.

And "Beethoven"... I adore that song. And "The Walk"...

And all those great b-sides, like "Rich Girl" and "Precious" and "Grown Up Girls" and.... ARGH!

They don't get the respect they deserve. Dave + Annie = true visionaries.

There is no 1984 remaster yet...and the end guitar is the best thing in the song. Too bad the single had it cut off.

I think all we have gotten was In the garden, Savage, Sweet Dreams and Touch. Of course Savage being my favorite.

I always seem to get into Eurythmics around this time of year. I was in Heaven last year with all of the reissues. I ended up buying the whole lot 4 times over, twice for myself and twice as gifts!

i just moved house and got a new pc, been uploading all my albums
onto it and last night i was tripping out on all the 'eurythmics'
remasters. and Touch Dance, which i got from Huey. i just kept on
listening and changing songs until i noticed it was 3 am, lol.
