I find Brits to be quite untalented. And she has released K-Fed on all of us. She should have just told him he sucks as a rapper and be done with it.

For me, she is the reason for all the Paris', Lindsey's, Jessicas, Hilary's...I blame it all on her.

A point to a certain extent, but you cant forget others that came through that door she opened like Christina and Justin, though some people dont consider them part of that, Britney was the one that made POP sell at that point, Nysnc had a cd out for 6months that went nowhere, then Brintey came debuted at Number 1, and then everyone jumped on it, got the same producer and rode her wave, kind of like how everyone now gets the same producer and rides the wave. And the K-Fed thing, well hes a grown person, he does what he wants, he may suck and all but if he wants to do a record go ahead, hes just another one riding her fame. As far as the other ladies mentioned i think Jessica and Hilary should be pulled out of that, since mainly Jessica's fame came from a reality show, and Hilarys came from her Lizzy McGuire stuff, nothing to do with britney.

Yeah i agree, but call me crazy but im curious what she will come out with too, i understand she is aiming for something mid 2007. We tend to build up stars and then just love to watch them fall and of course while they fall we enjoy kicking them further down, its kind of a sick thing in a way, but its always been that way here in america.

I wouldnt say that she opened the door for NSYNC and BSB, as they were already getting pretty popular, though one can argue that they got greater success after Britney arrived. She did kinda open the door for Christina I guess, but with Xtina's pipes, she would have made it regardless. I'd probably say that she also opened the door for Jessica and Hilary Duff, to an extent though as both got a bulk of their popularity through TV.

Regardless, I think it's about quality that wins out in the end. Yea, maybe Britney's popularity brought alot of pop groups, but how many of them are still around? BSB tried coming back but had little success, NSYNC was smart and disbanded just as their popularity had peaked, 98 Degrees disappeared in part cause they flat out sucked, and I'm not even going to get into the 3rd rate acts like O-Town, etc. Even Britney herself isn't at her most successful right now, being more of a tabloid favorite than a superstar. Justin and Xtina have been able to survive the teen pop thing, and that's thanks in part to the fact that their recent work is pure quality pop music and not cheesy. I think their recent singles, 'My Love' and 'Hurt', are gonna be pop classics within 10-15 years.

As for Britney being more talented than Madonna and Janet, I REALLY hope your just being sarcastic. People tend to underestimate Madonna's voice when, in fact, it's very much capable and she's one of the few pop singers today who sings most of her stuff live. And while Janet isn't the best singer, she still sounds better than Britney(though I think Britney has ALOT more in common with Janet than with Madonna).

Well i agree but once again it was the "production" change that got nsync its popularity, their switch to using Max Martin who already was used by britney brought them out, it was more the sound than it was the artists. The reason i wouldnt include people like Jessica and Hilary are mainly because they are more famous for TV, though i think Jessica is probably the best in vocals of any of them. Christina did get the break because of Britney and not for her vocals, that is she got looked at more because she came from that era during that time, she clearly benefited from the whole Pop thing, dont get wrong the girl can sing but so can alot of others that didnt make it. I think Britneys star fell mainly because we all wanted it too and her doing also, but that is the life of a pop star, they all go through being in and being out. I think Britney however did take the brunt of it all, she was the scape goat, as i have said before her "IN the Zone" album was light years ahead of Justins, and yet wasnt looked at in the same light, slightly because of the double standard in music. For Justin it was looked as being "growth" for Britney it was viewed as "selling out" to Rb/Hip Hop to fit in and be Sexy. However i do disagree about "My love" and "Hurt" becoming classics in pop, not knocking them cause i like Christina and think she is very talented, and Justin is talented though i dislike him,his attitude and also how he pushes blame to others for his own gain, i dont see anything coming now that will be considered classic or remembered for very long, pop is disposable as Freddie Mercury said.

Agreed that has always been her strong point, but that is true of most dancers. I think she will change the hair up, she is getting ready to put out new music, possibly as soon as June maybe sooner,

Serena

According to TMZ & Perez Hilton.com, SHE'S DUMPING K-FOOL finally!!

Spears filed legal papers today in Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing "irreconcilable differences." In her petition, Spears asks for both legal and physical custody of the couple's two children, one-year old Sean Preston and two-month old Jayden James, with Federline getting reasonable visitation rights.

As for money, sources tell TMZ the couple, who married in Sept. 2004, has an iron-clad prenup. Not surprisingly, Spears is waiving her right to spousal support. She's also asking the judge to make each party pay their own attorney's fees.

Spears gives the date of separation as yesterday, the same day she flaunted her incredible revamped physique during a surprise appearance on David Letterman's show. Sources tell TMZ there was no single reason for Britney pulling the plug, rather, it was "a string of events."

Spears has hired powerhouse celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, who has repped a number of celebs, including Angelina Jolie, Nick Lachey and Kiefer Sutherland. We're told Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe asked Wasser to rep both of them in their split, but Wasser declined for personal reasons.

Although I may not like Justin nor Christina, at least I see they have a little talent. But, yeah I chuck them in with all the rest of them. Brits is not as bad as Paris...so there are levels to the madness.

It's music like hers and the rest that is killing music's integrity. That and she can'ttake a poo without it being in the Paparazzi.

Britney Spears and talent don't belong in the same sentence. I defy anyone to listen to that "music" without covering up their ears. Nothing but pop crap.

Now she's dumping K-Fed. I wish both of them would take the kids and go back to the trailer park.

Will someone tell me what Shar Jackson saw in that fool?

So, is this all part of the promotion for K Fed's new album? People will buy it to keep him out of the poor house!
