Do these guys even want to BE musicians?

http://news.yahoo.com/s/a...s_n__roses

How can folks still be fans of Axl and company?

He refuses to take the stage because he can't drink while performing????

First of all, you take people's money for a show, you gotta perform. Broken leg? Fuq you, go play. Headache? Fuq you, go play. Mommy didn't hold you enough when you were a baby? Fuq you, hit da stage!

Forget about the fact that he feels that in order to perform, they gotta be liquored up. Asshole. If you're such a dork musician you can't perform without alcohol, drink BEFORE the concert, that's what a dressing room is for.
Drink during the intermission. If you gotta *show* that you're drinkin' cause you're a hardass band, do the Dean Martin bit where you drink fuqin apple juice, seltzer, and tomato juice on stage. Save the hardcore for the afterparty.

Just don't cancel YET ANOTHER SHOW in a comeback tour for an album that's been in production thirteen years.

Some people tell me I've got great legs...

I know what you mean. I think they're just a bunch of alcoholic losers. I don't mind a few songs, but I could never stand most of the members.

Wow that is pretty pathetic. Axl is seriously losing the plot. He should be happy people are still supporting his ass and yet he still keeps flaing out on gigs. I know there must be so many musicians out there that would love to have the opportunities he has. I still love him though! biggrin

Why buy a ticket in the first place? It's not like you'll actually be seeing a Guns n Roses show, even in the off chance things go as planned. confuse

If I had a time machine I'd leap at the chance to go back in time and see the real band perform. But Axl and his new drinking buddies? They ain't it.

Matt was part of the heart? You mean the guy who never participated in the construction of any original GNR material? So the Replacements, Primus and NIN can't rock? Do you even know who is in this band?

Yeah I know!! But he won't join the band though. I think VR asked him too and he said no. He doesn't like that lifestyle I think.

Man, I know what you mean. As soon as I get my hands on a time machine, there's quite the list of things *ahemPeople* that I'd like to do. A young Elvis and the many faces of Bowie, for a start. horny

Agreed!

Also, interesting to learn from this thread that all you have to do is get hold of a time machine, then you can flit through time fucking whichever celebrity you fancy. Easy as that! smile
