J*Davey babys....where are you? Am I the only one on the Org?
Speak up & show yourselves if you're diggin' the beauty in distortion!!! And go to their myspace if you haven't lately, 'cause they just put up a remix of Mr. Mister that is the SICKNESS.

Sadly no! They hinted about something coming out in time for Xmas though. Previously the only way you could get their songs (except for scrounging the internet for them) is from the CD-R they gave away at their shows, I dunno if they still give those out though. Right now there's myspace and their old site to hear their stuff...I could hook you up with one of those CD-Rs if you want though. Until then...I'm waiting patiently.

Oh and FYI...
They're gonna be at Club 3121 on Nov. 22. Sadly, I will not be.

They're the sound of the new funk. And that's what I told them when I met them here in NY earlier this year. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

Reporting for duty, sir! The songs on their MySpace are awesome, can't wait for their Warner Bros. debut. I love that period in music where there was a strong "new-wave" influence in funk and R&B (Shalamar's "Dead Giveaway", Cameo's "Alligator Woman", Jermaine Jackson's "Let Me Tickle Your Fancy", etc.) and J*Davey harkens back to that. Too bad a lot of Prince fans seem to be dismissing them as a "smoothed-out" neo-soul act.

Even notice how under "sounds like" the put "the black Eurythmics" And yeah it's a bit dissapointed how they're kinda getting brushed off like you said. They're anything but 'smoothed-out' and from the people I've talked to who've been to shows they actually liken Jack onstage very much to Prince as far as sex appeal and stage presence. How 'bout that? Hopefully performing in Vegas and getting signed to Warners will open even more doors for them...I wish 'em nothing but success
