WHAT A SHOW! Kylie kicked our asses tonight, and it was well worth the wait of a year and a half. I really needed this concert, and the best thing is that these were our worst seats out of the 4 shows we'll see this month! Tomorrow night well will be 2nd row center on the floor!

I'm too fried to post all my thoughts now, but I will post the setlist for all you curious kitties...

Act 1: Pink-feathered Extravaganza

• Better the Devil You Know

• White Diamond This new track is awesome! Shimmering pop at its finest- be ready to hear this song everywhere next year!
  
• On a Night Like This (the first segment was backed by a piano progression reminiscent of the Pachelbel Canon before it launched into its disco glitz)
  

Act 2: Blonde vamp in gold dress

• Do You Dare- just a tiny snippet- only one line
  
• Shocked Very energetic!
  
• Keep on Pumpin' It- another tiny snippet
  
• What Do I Have to Do
  
• I'm Over Dreaming Over You- just another tiny snippet
  
• Spinning Around
  

Act 3: Asian/Mystical set

• Teaser intro of Take Me With You- if only she had played the whole thing!
  
• Confide in Me
  
• Cowboy Style
  
• Finer Feelings- about a minute of this only
  
• Too Far- one of the big highlights- very emotional. Toward the end Kylie did this near-beatbox rhythmic thing!
  

Act 4: Leopard suit with boxing gloves!

• Butterfly- acrobatic dancer only, but wow was he good!
  
• Red Blooded Woman - Toward the middle she went into Where the Wild Roses Grow before returning to RBW

Intermission- in the midst of the showtune music came this strange, mellow acoustic version of Hand on Your Heart.

Act 5: Dream Segment

• Over the Rainbow- she was sitting in a moon suspended from the ceiling
  
• Come Into My World- dreamy piano version, still atop moon

• I Believe in You - the highlight of all?

Act 6: Weird Robo Semi-S&M/Burlesque/Flapper

• Burning Up/Vogue- Kylie did the whole name-dropping bit of Vogue backed by the music of Burning Up- Kylie's Burning Up that is...
  
• Locomotion- completely camp, burlesque version
  
• I Should Be So Lucky- pop version/audience singalong
  
• Hand on Your Heart- crowd favorite!
  

Encore 1: Future Spacebot in Alien Spacecraft

• Can't Get You Out of My Head Complete uproar!
  
• Light Years - OK maybe this was the highlight. Toward the middle she threw in a bit of Turn It Into Love! She exited with her alien subjects/dancers with the whole "Thank you for flying KM Air- we hope you enjoyed your flight" bit. Very awesome.
  

Encore 2: Kylie by herself after a heartfelt speech

• Especially for You- shared vocals with audience
  
• Love At First Sight- PERFECT ending to the show- no other song could have closed it! And no, this isn't the '88 song. The audience was feeling the love.
  

I'll add more bits later and explain all of the feelings and so forth. For now, let me say that I am thrilled and exhilarated that I have finally seen Kylie live. 3 more to go!

Whoa. How long did she play? Looks like a thoroughly generous set. Was it anything like the Showgirl tour?

Glad you had a great time. You gonna catch U2 while they're there too?

I'm getting better- the antibiotics cured my bronchitis, but I've still got a bit of a cold. Still- it didn't inhibit me at all.

So the new songs are really good? Is she going to have a new album out soon? Should be a huge seller!

The only new song was "White Diamond", and it seems bound to become a Kylie classic along the lines of "Can't Get You Out of My Head", "Spinning Around", "I Should Be So Lucky", etc.

For someone who is recovering from cancer she must of put on quite a show. I am not a Kylie fan, but I will say good for her for coming back stronger.

Just got back from the 2nd show. Again- amazing. The most amazing part was that Bono joined Kylie on stage for a duet of Kids! The energy was amazing and they had a cool chemistry on stage!

Wow. I'm only a casual Kylie fan, but I am happy to see that she's bounced back from the Cancer and chemo...it's becoming really alarming to me how female cancer victims are geting YOUNGER and YOUNGER each year
