Pearl Jam - No Code
Now playing: 'Off He Goes' If people didn't have these preconceptions about PJ being a "grunge" band, then this album would've been received with much more enthusiasm than it was. It's diverse, it's cohesive, and it's expansive. 'Hail Hail' and 'Who You Are' are two of the best singles of their career, and the album tracks are just as good. 'Red Mosquito' is among my favorite rock songs of the '90s. I'm the first mammal to wear pants.

It wraps up so much of what I like and identify with musically. It's almost like someone was enmeshed in my brain and the end result was this album. ... [Edited 11/26/06 16:26pm]

BillieSparks said: wavesofbliss said: one of the best counrty/western albums EVER EVER!! I wanna get ahold of this. Is the original one better to get or the complete recordings of it? Actually, the complete recordings box set edition of this album is a little misleading! It's actually a compilation of every country oriented jam he ever cut from his earliest days to the early 90's, plus the entire Modern Sounds in Country & Western Music album is included. I borrowed this box set from a friend and it's good, but it can get a little boring in the middle. I would recommend you to buy the original one and if u like that one, invest in the box set...
