Not familiar with Tori's version, but the original is one of George's most powerful songs. It's too bad that his newer ballads just don't even begin to compare to the 'Faith' and 'Listen Without Prejudice' eras.

Oh man, when I was little, I COMPLETELY misheard the lyrics! I thought he was singing "I could be your bottom feeder..." It never made much sense, especially, "put your tiny hand in mine," because fish don't have hands! lol
Wanna hear me sing? biggrin www.ChampagneHoneybee.com

Hey. mr.green

Of course I have! rolleyes

That's my favourite George album (I think). Although his best would be 'Listen Without Prejudice'. nod They're both wonderful.

Marius, I highly recommend his solo albums - you're a fan of classic songwriting. nod I'm sure you'll love 'em. wink

Speaking of George Michael concerts, i remember hearing about a Wham reunion here a few weeks ago, was it all just a rumour?

The rumour is that Andrew Ridgeley and Pepsi & Shirlie are going to turn up at some of his solo gigs and perform some Wham! classics. nod It's likely to be the London gigs but I've also seen Birmingham mentioned.

I hope it's Birmingham as that's where I'm seeing him. thumbs up! lol

Also, Mutya (ex-Sugababes) is also supposed to be appearing at the shows. (They've just released a duet, 'This Is Not Real Love').

Fuck a Tori Amos, George's version is a masterpiece. The whole Faith album was a gem and my favorite song "Hand To Mouth" was never even released(didn't need to be since the album was such a huge success). I think I was the only black man who wasn't offended by him getting the Best R&B Album Grammy back in early 89 for this effort.
