Icicle

David Ruffin & Eddie Kendricks

I bought the first volume of David Ruffin`s "Motown solo albums", and it was okay, i guess i need to give it another listen in order to really get into it.
I see the second volume is now released.

I didn`t get Eddie Kendrick`s first collection, so i wonder if anyone here are familiar with their solo careers (Ruffin and Kendricks), and what you think of the music...

Both had cool solo careers. David to me, was the superior vocalists. But, I believe Kendricks had the most success as a solo artist. If for no other reason than "Keep On Truckin".

nammie "What BGZ says I believe. I have the biggest crush on him."

i love both of them, but if i ever meet a guy who can sing Eddie Kendricks' "Can I" (hence my signature) then the panties would slowly be coming down....
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Eddie was cool, but David's voice gives me goosebumps. The man epitomized SOUL.
