I'm raising the white flag of surrender to Fergie and the other Black Eyed Peas. I kind of liked Where Is The Love a few years ago. But everything after that, I've thought was increasingly annoying. They get more and more obnoxious in their videos.


But after the last several years of raising the level of assault on my sensibilities, eyeballs and psyche, I'm giving up. With each new video, they have managed to top themselves in the mind-boggling array vomitrocious imagery.


I saw the video for Fergie's "Fergalicious" last night and I'm just giving up. I can't win this war. I'm completely flabbergasted by the level of crapitude that they have achieved in this latest opus. I'm astonished and won over by the pureness of their obnoxious tackiness.


Please end the onslaught on taste and dignity, Black Eyed Peas. You win.

I bought "Behind The Front" when it was fresh out
Thought (and still think) it was brilliant
Unfortunately they got sucked into image instead of continuing what was already a recipe for succes
I'm sure getting Fergie with the group got them a whole new audience
lots more MTV opportunities and all
but it changed (and imo killed) the great vibe they once had
they should've never bridged that gap, I'll stay behind the front (OMG how cheesy can I get)

i feel the same way. they're so horrid, i've grown a negative fascination with them. fergie's album may be the worst piece of 'music' i ever heard, and i love her for it.

man I knew Black Eye Peas from way back, when they had another girl, they were some cool ass cats and they had some good hip hop vibes going on. they are sooooo much different now. I agree, I think they are more focused on style, image and being different visually, rather than the music.

I will never give in. I dislike everything about Fergie and the rest of the band does nothing for me either. IMHO - they suck and Will gets far too much praise.

Well that is the war that BEP chose to fight. I dont have anything against BEP or Fergie for that matter, because there always has to be the crossover group. Im sure if given time The Fugees would have went this way too, maybe not the extreme that BEP have gone too, but i could see "Where is the Love" coming out of Wyclef, i mean he did do "Hips Dont Lie". Im sure BEP knew what they were getting when they brought Fergie in, and they havent exactly tried to hide her in the background they have used her Sex appeal to get attention, has it degraded what they "were" probably and i understand longtime fans for hating it, and im sure they know they are hated for it, but at the same time welcomed to whole new audience. But i dont think they are bad Rappers, i mean sure Will is giving too much praise, but the rest arent given any really, Rap/Hip Hop is very broad genre is always the Argument i hear, so why doesnt it come into play here? As for Fergie, Hate her or Love her but you cant deny that she got them alot of audience they have, I mean this is the "Wild Orchid" girl for godsakes. So im not defending them, but also not going to rip them, because though they maybe "commercial" and all that, they are alot more creative that other "Rappers" out there.

Ok, I'll admit it...I kinda like 'Fergalicious', but something amazing just happened

Usually videos make me like a song more, but I just saw the video
for that song and it is just too cheesey! Its horrible
and It made me like the song a little bit less
