any thoughts on Gino Vannelli? "Livin' Inside myself" was my Jam as was "I just wanna stop".His Brother Ross did alot of Arrangement work for a quite a few artists.Gino was on Soul Train back in the day&was a Cool Cat.

I have a 1974 video of 'Soul Train' where Vannelli is performing one of his early hits "People Gotta Move".I prefer his late 70s hit "I Just Wanna Stop".He's a great vocalist. What's he up to these days?

In the 70's/80's I LOVED GINO!! His concerts were amazing - his vocals, dreamy and his body - delicious. I saw him in the early 90's here in Toronto and his hair was shorter, his balletic moves of the 70's seemed a little silly, but I forgave him that, but most importantly his voice was still amazing. Too bad we don't hear much about him. I saw a jazz special he did a few years ago - I hope we see him again.

What's Up Everybody and Good Morning...

A great singer. A voice of operatic proportions. I recently put together a 90 min tape of some of my old 45 r.p.m. records and I found his 1981 hit "Living In Myself" from the NIGHTWALKERalbum and put it on my tape. What a song!!! That's my favorite song by him. This song used to get played on R&B radio stations as well. Oh I listen to CDs ya'll. I just like going into my vinyl record stash..(LOL).
