What's your fav Halloween songs?

Anyone have a favorite song for Halloween?

- The Monster Mash?
- Ghostbusters?
- Thriller?
- Dracula's Wedding (by Andre 3000)?

...or what about "There's Others Here With Us"? boxed

I'm tired of most these vaguely "spooky" Halloween songs, the world needs better ones, now!

Many years back a local college station plaedy a whole bunch of Halloween rockabilly songs, I assume from the 60s - they totally rocked! I wish I'd picked up some names...

from Pictures from an Exhibition by Modest Mussorgsky

especially March to the Scaffold by Hector Berlioz

Dance of the Furies from Orpheus and Euridice by C.W. Gluck

by Camille Saint-Saens

Danse Macabre
According to the ancient superstition, "Death" appears at midnight every year on Halloween. Death has the power to call forth the dead from their graves to dance for him while he plays his fiddle (represented by a solo violin with its E-string tuned to an E-flat in an example of scordatura tuning). His skeletons dance for him until the first break of dawn, when they must return to their graves until the next year. The piece makes particular use of the xylophone in a particular theme to imitate the sounds of rattling bones.

Yes, that's my favorite but I listen to Bette Midler's rendition.
tho' I battled blind
love is a fate resigned
memories mar my mind
love it is a fate resigned

Over futile odds
and laughed at by the Gods
and now the final frame
Love is a losing game
