This one snuck up on me. As long as I had been listening to 'Hall of Fame Vol. 1', it never occured to me that 'Beddie Biey' was the sample for 'The Chase Pt II'. Only listening to it thru headphones one night a few years ago, did I make the connection. It was seamless selection and production like this that made ATCQ infallible in the early 90's.

I shouldn't have to go on about the merits of 'Steve Arrington's Hall Of Fame Vol. 1'. It's been done enough on this board. But if there are any lone holdouts who love 'Midnight Marauders'....you just got a taste. Stevie ain't no joke.

I don't have that Steve Arrington yet.
