A Different kind of MJ thread

Did you know that Michael Jackson...

- likes to take long walks in the forest and climb up to treetops?
- can drive a bicycle?
- never quite managed to memorize Sheryl Crow's name when she was a background singer for him during the Bad World Tour? And he even took her for a dinner!
- is a hugely revered character in the industrial music circles? He's dehumanization of himself and his music has brought many fans inside the scene. Also a lot of industrialheads can genuinely appreciate his music for all the technology and soundscapes involved.
- toured Eastern Europe TWICE during the HIStory World Tour, but still managing to skip America?
- made a very good album called "Triumph" with his borthers? If the only MJ album you can listen to (like me) is "Off The Wall", this is the next best thing.
- actually looked quite terrific in the past? Even the heavily altered face during the latter half of the 80's was a rather pleasing design. Elfish connotations withstanding.
- apparently is straight? If you've ever read that bit on the DMSR book about Michael flirting with Sherilyn Fenn. Of course, he might have changed...
- dedicated the "Blood On The Dance Floor" single to... Elton John?!?

I read that about Sheryl touring with MJ and him not even bothering to remember her name. What a jerkoff

C'mon people. You've watched WAY too many episodes of South Park. Should have made this thread into a clumsy cartoon instead. Maybe that way, the sarcasm wouldn't have been so hard to digest.

Here's some other MJ trivia for 'ya...

***Michael cried when Quincy Jones played him the test pressing of the 'Thriller' album! All of the Sony/Epic execs were in the room, and everybody was stressed out.The first single "The Girl Is Mine" was already climbing the charts and Epic wanted the album immediately.Only problem is,the test pressing sounded like crap!! They added too many songs, the album wasn't mixed right, and they had to drastically re-edit the entire album and fast!! Quincy and MJ spent the next 10 days mixing one song a day and finally came up with an album that could be released. They took out the entire second verse from "The Lady In My Life"(!!) and also edited out the long, long intro to "Billie Jean".

***The 1987 song "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" was originally planned as a duet with Barbara Streistand! Quincy convinced Mike to record it with the lesser-known Siedah Garret instead.

***Michael wrote and produced the song "Muscles" for his pal Diana Ross in 1982.When she would perform it in concert, she joked "Michael Jackson wrote this song for me,but I don't know if it's HIS fantasy or mine".

***Eddie Van Halen was brought in to play the guitar solo on "Beat It".He was also asked to make a cameo in the video, but he declined. His reason? He didn't think the song would be a hit!

***Michael first worked with Quincy in 1978 when he appeared in the movie 'The Wiz' (Quincy scored the music). One day during filming,Michael asked Quincy to produce his next album.Amazingly,Epic Records was AGAINST this idea since they considered Quincy more of a "jazz artist/producer".Anyway,Mike won and Quincy produced his 'Off The Wall' album, which sold 9 million copies. You can bet that, when the time came for MJ to do another album,Epic kept their mouths shut this time...lol...

***Michael is known to work with many different producers and artists, but he doesn't always release the songs that gets recorded with them. For the 'Bad' album,he recorded an anti-crack song with Run DMC that remains in the vaults...he also recorded a song with Roger Troutman (Zapp) that has never been released.Recently,Wyclef Jean said that "working with Michael was an incredible experience" even though the collaboration never made it onto the 'Invincible' CD!

***In 1991,Michael was planning to do a song with Madonna. She had a unique idea for the video...Mike would appear as a woman, and she would appear as a man!! Of course,Mike didn't like this idea but his sister Janet told him he should do it."It's not what people would expect",she advised her older brother. The collaboration was cancelled, but some people are convinced that Madonna appears on his song "In The Closet" (the album credits simply say "Mystery Woman").

Oh I forgot that bit about "Muscles". That's funny as hell.

What about Janet Jackson's claim that "I haven't been able to see Michael's children ever because we both work in the show business and are always too busy"?!?

You know, with the demanding one album per five years release schedule and all the amusement park building...

I finally got to Hear "Serious Effect" the cut He did with LL Cool J on a Michael Fan site.I think that Song with Roger Troutman can be heard at the start of "The way you make Me feel" video.it sounds like Roger in the background. the Mystery Girl on the song"In the Closet" is Princess Stephanie from Morraco.they are real cool.now I swear on the Video Version of the song sounds like Diana Ross.MJ was in the studio with Diana writing the song "Muscles"She asked MJ to Produce it as well&She said MJ was kinda Shy about doing it&the song kinda Produced itself. janet is full ofSH**.you can't take Her too Serious with anything. She did say once that MJ in His Vaults had some Classical Based Material that He did along time ago.this was in the Magazine Q back in 93 with Terrence Trent D'arby on the Cover.La&Babyface did stuff with MJ that never got released as did Devante Swing,Lenny Kravitz,Among many others.

this is from a biography of elizabeth taylor,: the most beautiful woman in the world.

mj wanted his child to have elizabeth's genes. he wanted to take the genes from her daughter(which contained liz's genes) and wanted it to be implanted on some woman's body with his sperm in it. liz didn't go far with it.

mj bought liz a huge crystal ball which he said jokingly was the biggest diamond in the world. in it, it is written something like: i love you, forever elizabeth.

mj has a memorialla collection of liz.

supposedly, he asked her hand in marriage.

whenever liz goes to neverland, there's a hint of sex in the air!!!

Actually, I heard quite the opposite on this one. According 2 the book, "The Magic & The Madness", Michael was willing 2 do it, 2 shock everyone, but it was sister Janet who didn't trust Madonna and told her brother she was set out 2 make a fool out of him...thus, the collaboration did not happen.

Oh come on! You don't REALLY believe that Mike would have went along with Madonna's crazy plan,do you?...lol...on the other hand,Janet has ALWAYS been a little "freaky",so you know she thought it was a cool concept;)

Actually,Madonna wanted to take it all a step further. She wanted Michael to "hang out" with her gay dancers (Jose and Louis,I think there names are). She wanted Mike to become wild like her...lol...

Good Morning Orgers,

Muscles was the name of Michael's pet snake and that was the inspiration for the title of Diana Ross's song "Muscles". Now as far as the lyrical content of the song is concern I can't say what is Michael's "inspiration".

mj got his driver license(sp?) at age 23!

mj was having an affair with tatina t.(the girl from THE WAY YOU MAKE ME FEEL). his mother said that mj said he thinks he loves the girl, but he doesn't know what to do.
the girl who appeared on his tour got fired after kissing him on the lips. the ppl. who fired her:manager, brando thought she was trying to ruin mj's clean image.

according to donald trump's autobigraphy,
mj and lisa marie presley supposedly did "it" on top of the trump towers.

when mj was invited to dinner at a fancy restaurant by donald trump, he started to giggle and said he didn't want to talk about whom he was dating.

since the restuarant catered to RICH,SUCCESSFUL,POWERFUL ppl., donald trump witnessed for the first time that the most snobbiest ppl. could act nervous, polite around mj. he said he known this mean woman for 6 years, when she saw mj she walked up to him asking for autograph. she almost slipped and many others were asking for mj's autographs for themselves.

during the making of YOU ARE NOT ALONE, lisa was : we'll show them attitude. but when the camera got on, lisa got a bit scared of being on camera and mj had to push her a bit to make her work for the camera.

Who cares is right! Nobody cares about MJ anymore. Does anyone really listen to his music anymore? He's a pedofile who can't decide what colour he wants to be. Maybe if he stopped all the bullshit, he just might be able to get back into the studio and make some music that people will actually care about.

ok I used 2 like Mike back in the day. I still acknowledge he could sing his behind off! He was a terrific showman. All that is old and irrelevant. He is still doing the same things, wearing the same stuff etc. Creativity evolves. He is in a time warp. None of this stuff surprised me. Ecetera Ecetera.

To answer your question "Does anyone really listen to his music anymore?"...well,his 'Invincible' album sold over 5 million copies worldwide,so at the very least, that's 5 million people who are STILL listening to him...lol...

You say "he's a pedofile"...I say "PROVE IT"!

You also say "Nobody cares about MJ anymore"...the same could also be said about Prince, since his popularity ain't what it used to be either. How ironic for a Prince fan to be attacking another artist's fading popularity...lol...

Nothing wrong with liking his music, but what i have
a problem with is SUPPORTING his lifestyle by buying
his shit. Blood on the dancefloor? nah, i'm just glad
it's not blood on MY hands.
If u support the music, u support the man, then u
support his beliefs, no matter how twisted they are!
