true, but back in the day, there was such a thing as good publicity and bad publicity. it wasn't like today where just being on tv is all that matters. the coverage was about people being injured and that it was a bad call for her to try it again the second day with the same weather forecast. there were reports that she tried to get Michael Jackson to show up for day two. it was supposed to be a fundraiser to build put a new playground inside Central Park, or something like that. it was drama!!! but again, i fucken LOVED it!!! glad i saw both days televised! I read about the whole thing in the book "Call her miss Ross", they spent more money than they got, and in the end, Ross had to pay for the park herself, which she was NOT happy about...

the 12" extended mix of swept away was ESSENTIAL 80's club music/early house music--the dj's banged that mf for like 2 years over in here in Baltimore (that and Siedah Garrett's K.I.S.S.I.N.G.)

Touch by touch: Another single, this is typically 80s, in a good way... It kinda reminds me of some of the songs Donna Summer recorded in the 80s [/quote] like "unconditionnal love" * [Edited 9/29/06 13:51pm]
