I love those much slepted on Cee Lo solo albums, but I don't agree with this. This is a cash in, or maybe now that C has the general publics attention he wants to get everybody up to speed, just to be fair.

I agree 100% with the two post ^^

Either way, Lo will get paid.

It's exploitative for sure, but I don't think it's anything to get annoyed by. A lot of people (particularly here in the UK) had never heard of cee-lo until gnarles. We're impressed and we'd like to know more. This compilation will be a useful intro for a lot of people. Nothing wrong with that.

Excatly. I already own his first album....I'm much better off by the second used and cheap, right?

Not much. This, I'm sure, is a contract ender. I don't think a lot of artists make tons of these sets.

I would purchase both. The greatest hits will include tracks that were not on either album like the Goddie Mob stuff.

And there are some great tracks on the 2nd album (and 1st album) that are not represented on the Greatest Hits.

He did this good collobration with a rapper but damn if I could remember who and what the song was called. Something "the wind". It was pretty good even though the rapper was one of the those guys with grills or some shit.

I figured it out. It was Trick Daddy with "Controlin' Da Wind" or something. He is also on "Sugar". Neither on this compilation. A shame, really.

tell me about it. he hasn't got that much material to really have a GH in my opinion and by the way, am i the only person who thinks his solo work is waaaaay better than his work with gnarls barkley?? honestly i think they are wack and he should just be on his own. their music does nothing for me.

it's not that he does not have enough material, he has been around since the late 90's, it's just that we can't really call them hits. good material, but that's cheating to call it a hits collection.
