i'm looking forward to the Killers new album which is released next week
but i am very disappointed in the 1st single "when you were young"
their debut album Hot Fuss was excellent and i was hoping that their 2nd album would be even better but i hear they have gotten away from the 80's new wave sound they had on Hot Fuss..i dont know why they would get away from a formula that worked so well especially after the album selling 3 million copies but hopefully the 1st single is not an indication of how the rest of the album will be

I reconize the name of the band from watching late night videos. That's often a sign I'm liking what I'm hearing.

I'm going to buy it

The thing is, their songs have had a little more emotion each time, and I appreciate that. The new one totally gets me.

I never thought I'd be saying this, because I hated them SO much when they first came out.

got a hold of the album yesterday- not as immediately catchy as "hot fuss", but its a more musically sound (no pun intended) album. definitely a grower.

I just don't get the hype over the Scissor Sisters. I remember hearing one of their videos playing in the other room, and I had go run in and change the channel as fast as possible because I hated the song so much. Such cheese. And not in a cool way either.

when bands like the Killers and Scissor Sisters do great with their debut, there is usually hype for the second release.....too bad both of them suck....but it figures

I don't know, to me my only internal hype is that both of their initial albums were refreshing but the second one is always the test. I understand that their going into a vaudville direction now but I've yet to spend the time to listen to the whole album.
