Someting Sananda wrote about Whitney...

Who isn't trying to sing like Whitney Houston is lying. All singers today are either directly influenced by her or by someone else influenced by her. She is our times Aretha and Barbra Streisand. First they kill the original ( the American way), then the avalanche of clones to replace and undercut them. While convincing the original that in order to get back into the game they must now follow their own followers. Huh?

Yes the media had a field day watching Whitney spiral out of control with drugs, but they didn't do this to her, she did this to herself.

It doesn't matter who the messenger is - he's right. Everyone's trying to be "the next" something, and a lot of singers are still trying to be Whitney. Ever watch American Idol?

American Idol is practically the same as Star Search. I don't get why people are so crazy about it nowdays, most people rolled their eyes at Star Search when it was on.

the newbies really don't have any respect for the oldtimers. They claim they do but they really think they are doing something.

unkemptpueblo

I feel him on this one. Its like when Prince dropped "Black Sweat". There weere all these comments comparing it to a Neptunes production. Or now that we have Justin Timberlake(of all people) "making better Prince songs than Prince.." somehow P should follow Justins blueprint? confuse Huh? I think its a sign of the times( no pun intended). We live in a disposable culture where ADD is rampant, and everything has a shelf life of about 5 minutes.
A happy face, A Thumpin Bass, For A Lovin' Race. PEACE.
