please help me i.d. the name of this song & group :


I've heard this song several times on "radio free virgin funk it up", but the rfv player I use doesn't give the song title/artist (I must have the "simple version" of this player"..)

ANYWAY
this song has some nice "Ohio Players"-like horns in it, a "shakey" guitar riff, & a rather pronounced cowbell clangin' in the background..

the bridge goes something like :

then the chorus is :

"oh yes we love you

Yeah, we've had one. Remember angela74? She's the reason I went out bought their greatest hits. She re-appeared for a little while, then disappeared again.

as I tend to prefer LONG versions (either original lp version or 'extended 12"' verison) of songs like this..
should I get this song on a "greatest hits" compilation cd or should I get it on the album (cd) on which it originally appeared???
