well i'm glad he has suffered through the same abysmal record sales that have haunted janet since Nipplegate woot!

ONLY 711,000? i mean come on. by the time he finishes paying off timbaland and everybody else on this album (plus the record company), i'm sure his take home pay is not close to what Prince did on 3121.

if you're gonna carjack Prince for some ideas, at least get PAID like Prince. wink

On the Org before , threads have been appearing like : " Which acts sound(ed) like Prince ? " / " Who's Influenced By Prince ? " / etc ... so what's all this sudden fuss about ?! ... Because it's simply not ones' cup-a-tea ? ... get over it please .

I'm not a huge fan of him ( still can appreciate some stuff of him though ) but can't figure out the vendettas here .

I have just been listening to JT's new album, and it is very 80's prince but obviously i love it, i mean there are some songs on the album and i'm like "hey, thats taken from such a song", so my summary is I'm really digging JT's new album x x

I'm not surprised by this. I got his album the day it was released and on 1st listen I thought that it sounded heavily Prince influenced. I'm dissapointed to be honest! There's only one Prince and no-one can imitate him, so why bother?

Its pretty evident the Prince influence but I thought it was going to be an ARTICLE about just him talkin about it..not the last line! boo

the Timbaland sampled Beautiful Ones 'kuh' kickdrum and Raspberry Beret's 2 snares edit...

Timbaland also used The Beautiful Ones tto make "I Am Music"

I fro one love it..Nelly Furtado's is WE bit better..its not better than 3121..but its up there in my favorites of the year..Tim really did some work
