I think my brother and I started a "PLAY THAT MOTHERFUCKIN' BASS" at a Prince show when that was still an appropriate thing to chant.

i started the "play that motherfuckin' bass" chant at the atlanta lakewood jam of the year concert back in 1997. i had been at the love for oneanother show in january and knew what was coming.
when i started doing it, you should have seen the shock and horror on the faces of some of the folks around me. then when a bunch of folks followed, they looked at me like i was satsn.

I yelled out Freebird at a judybats concert, and they played the opening riff.
