Mong

They're crap. Just sounds like a poor pastiche act.

You must be thinking of the Spice Girls' "Stop". That single had a very 60s girl group sound.

I'll be seeing CSS when they open for Ladytron later this month.

Yep, mostly that song. They definitely have the Phil Spector girl group-type thing going on. I'm getting all sorts of different action from them, holistically. And it's really a good thing 'cause you can't pin 'em down that easily.

Ladytron are really cool. You're going to have a good time @ that show.

It will be my fourth time seeing Ladytron live--second this year. smile

Will the Pipettes be touring the U.S.? I only see European dates on their myspace.

I missed the opening act when they played at Irving Plaza in April.

I doubt they will play in the U.S. before the album gets released here.

I don't think they supported Ladytron when they hit NYC. I think it was a solo gig, but don't quote me on it.

The Presets are coming back to New York YET AGAIN to support The Rapture on Halloween Eve @ Webster Hall!! headbang

Unfortunately, I had already bought it on ebay by the time I saw your post about Other Music. I did go there however and snagged the new Erase Errata and Peaches CDs. I was so tempted to buy The Pipettes CD there too even though my first copy was already in the mail.

Ah, I went to Other Music on Thursday to get tickets to the Soulwax/Klaxons/FIXED show and looked around the store @ The Pipettes selections, thinking about this thread. It looked like someone snagged the WATP LP and just left a maxisingle or EP (and I wondered if it was you), but nah.
